PHD and AIO

Are you a PhD (assistant researcher) or an AIO related to Wageningen University and interested in renting an unfurnished 2- or 3-room apartment? Then you can register directly with us. Take into consideration that the waiting time for these apartments is very long! We will advertise the empty apartments at our website. The only condition is that you will stay in Wageningen for at least 6 months. If you're just interested in renting a single furnished room, please go to the information for SSC-foreign students.

Procedure
Idealis provides 97 unfurnished apartments for PhD (foreign and dutch). When you are interested in one of these apartments; you have to register first. You can do so online. After filling in and submitting the digital form, you will automatically receive a confirmation and a client number. This number serves as your registration number. Idealis works with an accommodation-offer model. This means that, to be eligible for an accommodation, you must apply online for accommodation on offer. You should regularly check our site to see what our offers are.

You can view our available accommodations online. If you are interested in specific accommodations, you can indicate this immediately. If you are eligible for the accommodation is depending on the responses from other room hunters. The accommodations appear on our site for two days, following which the person at the top of the list receives an offer. If this person refuses the accommodation, it will then be offered to number two on the list, etc.
