Hoevestein
This high-rise building consists of 16 floors. There are corridors with 7 or 8 rooms, 368 in total. Every corridor has a common kitchen and a washing area with two showers, two toilets and two washbasins. The rooms vary in size from 12m2 to 14m2. For a floor plan, click here. This building is almost identical to Asserpark , the only difference being that Hoevestein has a big lawn that everyone may use for recreational purposes. The building is situated next to 'De Bongerd', the sports centre for students. There are parking lots at all the buildings. We advise you to lock your car and not to leave any valuable things in it.
Generally, one to two international students reside in a corridor of Asserpark, Dijkgraaf, Haarweg and Hoevestein.
Woeste Hoeve
On the ground floor there is a pub 'De Woeste Hoeve'. The pub has an activity commission which organises all kinds of things that tenants can take part in. These activities range from theme parties to football tournaments. 'Notorious' is the annual footrace around the building: the 'Woeste Ronde'. Although Hoevestein houses mostly first year students, everyone can register for this complex.
