ProfileIdealis is the student accommodation provider in Wageningen and Ede.The organisation owns around 4,500 housing units. The majority of our clients are not 'stayers': they move around a great deal. The tenants of around 3,000 rooms change each year. We work with generations of young people in quick succession. The length of time that they wish to stay varies widely and, increasingly, their cultures and nationalities do too. For us, providing information in English is just as important as providing information in Dutch. We are used to rapidly changing client contacts and huge numbers of removals in a short space of time. The many removals, and the fact that facilities are shared, requires special consideration with regard to maintaining the quality of the accommodation and a pleasant environment for the tenants to live in. We specialise in renting temporary living space, dealing with a vast number of removals in a short amount of time and the special attention that we give to the quality of the accommodation and a pleasant living environment for the tenants. Idealis is no 'ordinary' housing corporation, but a specialist in the area of short stays. We take care of the accommodation for a variety of target groups. The largest target group is made up of the (international) students of Wageningen UR, Van Hall Larenstein and the Middelbare Vakschool Wageningen. Idealis also lets around 475 rooms and 9 residential units in Ede for Woonstede, the Ede-based housing corporation, to students of the Ede Christian University, Neder-Veluwe College, the Technical College and Groenhorst College. In addition, we also have some accommodation for people aged over 55 and some housing in the private sector. The organisation was established on 11 April 1957. |
