Cleaning maintenance

Depending on the presence of areas in a complex and agreements with tenant representatives concerning removal of household refuse and old paper from the corridors, the following work will take place:
  • Removal of household refuse from the corridor hallways
  • Removal of old paper/carton from the corridor hallways
  • Cleaning of the common rooms, walkways and emergency stairwells
  • Cleaning of the bicycle sheds
  • Cleaning of the Idealis technical and service rooms
  • Removal of litter on the grounds and around the refuse container
  • Removal of unusable bicycles from the bicycle sheds
  • De-icing the grounds during the winter months
Only applicable to the Bornsesteeg complex!
  • Cleaning of the international corridors
Idealis has entered into agreements with industrial cleaning firms for doing the aforementioned work. These agreements specify the cleaning standards that apply to each area. The cost of industrial cleaning, supervision, personnel costs of the cleaning staff incurred by Idealis and supervision of the work will be passed on in the service charges.

Other cleaning work and window washing
Apart from the aforementioned cleaning work, several specialized cleaning activities could take place at complexes annually. These activities include the roof gutters, roofs, solar panels, balconies, sheeting/paneling on the outer walls and the containers for collecting refuse. In addition, the windows in the outer walls will be washed once a year. The cost of these activities will not be passed on to the service charges. For some of this work, you will receive a notification letter with specific information well in advance.
