Giving notice

In all cases, with the exception of an internal movement, you must give notice of leaving. You can give notice to terminate the tenancy agreement every day, observing a notice period of one month. The date for termination must always be a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The date of termination may not be on a national holiday (New Years Day (1 January), 2nd Easter Day, the Queens feast (30 April), Liberation Day (5 May), Ascention Day, Whit Monday, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas (Day 25 and 26 December).

You can give notice by filling in the form giving notice or you can write us a letter. You can also come to our office for a form. You receive a written confirmation of your notice. In this confirmation you can find the guidelines for leaving your room behind and what to do with you keys.

Keys
All keys must be returned to the caretaker before 12.00 hrs on the last day of your tenancy agreement. You can deposit them in his mailbox, please write your name and room number on the envelope. If your keys are not handed in on time without prior notice to the caretaker, de costs of placing a new key cylinder, new keys and paperwork will be charged to you. This amounts to € 76.
