Turnover policy, Occupancy of Idealis Accommodations
Idealis rents living accommodations in Wageningen and Ede to students studying at university institutions, higher and secondary vocational education and, to a limited degree in Wageningen, accommodations for young people working in Wageningen. (For more information, see the registration terms at our website). The accommodations in question are exclusively intended for occupancy by the aforementioned focus groups. At certain times, the number of people seeking accommodations is structurally larger than the number of accommodations available. To continue to make living accommodations available to these focus groups, Idealis shall terminate tenancy agreements with tenants in the following situations:
Rooms and Combi-Homes:
A. Dutch students: within two years after they have ended their studies (Intermediate Vocational Education (MBO), Higher Vocational Education (HBO), University Education) for whatever reason and, in any case, two years after the tenant is no longer enrolled at one of the above institutions.
B. International students and international guest associates (for this focus group there is a separate stock of (furnished) accommodations): within two years after their studies, appointments or internships have ended, whereby any partners (who are not part of the focus group) shall be obliged to vacate their accommodations at the same time.
C. Non-studying young people in Wageningen: when they reach the age of 28 years.
Trainee Research Assistant (AIO) Accommodations
Trainee research assistants: within one year after their trainee research-assistant appointment ends, whereby any partners (who are not part of the focus group) are obliged to vacate their accommodations at the same time.
