Turnover policy, Occupancy of Idealis Accommodations
Idealis rents living accommodations in Wageningen and Ede to full-time students studying at university institutions,
higher and secondary vocational education and, to a limited degree in Wageningen and Ede, and to trainee research
assistants associated with WUR. (For more information, see the registration terms at our website). The accommodations
in question are exclusively intended for occupancy by the aforementioned focus groups. At certain times, the number
of people seeking accommodations is structurally larger than the number of accommodations available. To continue
to make living accommodations available to these focus groups, Idealis shall terminate tenancy agreements with
tenants within one year after students have ended their studies (Intermediate Vocational Education (MBO), Higher
Vocational Education (HBO), University Education) or trainee research assistant agreements, for whatever reason and,
in any case, within one year after the tenant is no longer enrolled at one of the above institutions, or the trainee
research assistant contract has terminated, whereby their partners (who are not part of the focus group) shall be
obliged to vacate their acoomodation at the same time.
Idealis shall also terminate the tenancy agreements of non-studying young people in Wageningen who, based on
requests for housing, have specific housing agreements, for example, with the municipality of Wageningen and
Stichting Vluchtelingenwerk Midden Gelderland, when they reach the age of 28 years (corresponding to the average
vacating age of other target groups.
