The platform will adopt the name of the current ROOM, which in turn will continue as an offering website called Roommatch and be connected to the new registration platform. Through ROOM you can register for student houses from non-profit corporations throughout the Netherlands. And the number of providers will continue to grow in the near future.
Register 16 years or older
You can register from the age of 16 onwards. You will accumulate registration time and have access to housing offers from all participating student housing corporations (an approximate 50,000 rooms) for a one-time fee of 35 euros. Your registration is valid for 8 years. You will be able to move this way during your studies: within your building, within your city, but also to entirely different cities if you plan to study elsewhere.
Responding to rooms will no longer be on ROOM
The new registration platform ROOM will be a new website, complete with a new look and feel. On ROOM you will no longer find any housing offers. Responding to rooms will be done on the various websites of the participating housing corporations. The offers of the current ROOM website (DUWO, Idealis, Lefier, Pre Wonen and Ymere) are of course included in this as well.
