You might nog realize it, but quite a bit of moisture enters your home every day. Through breathing and sweating, but also from cooking, showering and having plants. All that moisture can lead to damp spots and mold, which is bad for your health. Plus, it takes a lot more energy to heat a damp home.

Tips to prevent dampness and mold
- Ventilate your room/home
- Air out your room daily
- Keep vents open and unobstructed
- Use a fan to circulate air
- Prevent moisture
- Dry laundry outside as much as possible
- Use a lid when cooking
- Don't hang wet sportswear on the radiator
- Clean properly
- Check corners and windows for black spots. Spray vinegar or mold remover and wipe it off.
- Dry condensation of windows
- Keep your bathroom as dry as possible
- Open the bathroom window (if any) after showering (< 20 min)
- After showering, dry the floor and walls
- Preferably do not use a shower curtain
- Other tips
- Ventilate if it smells musty
- Use moisture absorbers
- Use radiator foil
- Teport leaks or insulation problems
