Dijkgraaf, one of the four star-flats, is located on the northside of Wageningen. Conveniently, the campus is within walking distance. The city center is also nearby –follow one street and there you are! You don’t necessarily have to go downtown for an evening out: the apartment bar, De Hunker Bunker, is eminently suited for spending a fun evening. The management of this bar regularly organizes interesting activities – and you can even reserve the space for a private party.
There are 624 students living at Dijkgraaf, spread over eighteen stories. You can rent a room measuring approximately 13 square meters for an affordable price. Most of the rooms are on corridors with ten rooms and common facilities. This means that, together with other students, you share one kitchen, two showers, two toilets, two washbasin areas and an area for a washing machine. Half of these rooms have their own washbasins.
The corridors from the ground floor up to and including the third floor have a total of eighteen rooms, several of which have their own kitchens. As you live with eighteen students, you also have more common facilities.
You can stall your bike in any of the various (covered) bicycle sheds around the complex. The same applies to scooters/motorbikes or motorcycles. You can also park your car in the parking lot on the complex grounds.
